You can connect your Kyocera printer to a Windows PC and make sure the printer is turned on in the State. If your printer includes a printer wireless, turn on the Kyocera printer and select one of the available connection methods. Hello, Please how do i locate the job accounting feature on the printer. If in the print dialog there is no Job Accounting section, you probably aren't running the correct driver. That said, if you need help, Open a new topic with the following. Model of machine you're trying to have the Mac Print to? Did you download and install the driver for that Model from? When you added the Printer to the Mac via the IP Printing section, did it autopopulate the Driver field at the bottom, or did it say Generic Postscript? I am having this issue with a MacBook Air trying to find where to enter the Accounting Codes for a Kyocera 3551ci and 4550i. I have downloaded the driver from and added the printer with the IP address. The driver did autopopulate, however, the setting to add the accounting code isn't readily available. If I try to print from Microsoft Word, and select to view the presets, I can see the Accounting Code feature but it is set to Off. I can't change the setting from here. I am able to add the code and print to both using Windows 7 in Parallels. Any help much appreciated. We are using a print server which means for PC's, you find the printer in the shared printers- click install and it is all set! When you tell it to print it just asks for the code. BUT Mac is totally different. It took three different tech people from Kyocera to get it working. These are the steps- not pritty, but the last ones are critical.Steps. Connect to network 2. Download proper device drive and install it. Go to Kyoceradocumentsolutions.com to find it. Once downloaded, click to install. When finished, then map the printer above by using IP 4. To go system preferences, printers and scanners, and on the left click +. Three choices appear, you must choose IP, then in the address spot, add the ip to the printer that matches the driver you downloaded and already installed. Leave Queue alone, and change the name from the IP address to the official printer name above. Location is optional, but we have it in the name so not important. Then at the bottom click add. When finished, open word. Make a document and go to file print. On the top choose the printer you just added. Then, the third choice it says copies and pages, click on that and choose job accounting. When that comes up, select the job account check box, and then put your account number (4 digit code for printers). Then go to presents, the second menu at the top and choose “Save current settings as presets. A dialog box will appear, please name it for the printer you are setting up- the same as the printer name and select All printers. (the reason is that some printers are the exact same drivers so you can reuse them. You still must add that printer in manually, but then this doesn’t need to be done again. Click on ok and then back out and you are done with that application. To do another application, start again with step 7 and go through step 9, using that choices of the printer you have already created. Do that to application you might want to print to in the future. I just solved it: (this may be a bit different if you are using a older version of macOS sierra but the accounting setting should be found similarly) 1. Download whatever driver you need with the correct model and install it (make sure to delete the printer if you already have it in your system before installing driver so when you install driver, it will add the printer from there) 2.
